We were lucky enough to move to South Somerset in 1997. We took on an old house, built in 1895, with a 2 acre garden and a 4 acre field. For 10 years we focused on the house and rented out the field to a local farmer. The farmer lost interest in the field so we bought 5 pedigree Dorset Down sheep to ‘mow’ the grass! Our daughter completed her masters degree in Nutrition & Public health and decided to stay at home to run her cake business – Royle Celebration Cakes – and buy a horse!
